About ERC

A research company built around useful evidence

Evidence Research & Consulting was founded in 2025 to respond to the need for credible, timely, and context-sensitive evidence for humanitarian, development, public sector, and responsible private sector decisions.

Archive and knowledge materials arranged without readable documents or institutional marks

Important decisions need more than collected data

South Sudan's programmes and institutions operate amid changing needs, access constraints, climate pressures, displacement, service gaps, and complex local conditions. Evidence must be methodologically sound, operationally realistic, ethically gathered, and clear enough to guide action. ERC was established around that connection.

Vision

To contribute to stronger humanitarian, development, and public decisions through high-quality, trustworthy evidence in South Sudan and the region.

Mission

To provide rigorous, context-sensitive research, assessments, and evaluations that inform effective programming, strategic decision making, and sustainable development outcomes.

Expertise assembled around the engagement

ERC's operating model is designed to bring together the roles a study requires. These may include research analysts, MEAL specialists, field coordinators, data analysts, statisticians, GIS specialists, climate and environment specialists, quality-assurance supervisors, and operations support.

Advisory input may be drawn from academics, sector specialists, statisticians, and experienced development practitioners when the assignment requires it. Specific personnel and responsibilities are confirmed during scoping and contracting.
